Another fine Autumns day it was and I decided to choose the bonny country of Scotland. RIPPE had decided to choose Finland.

Little to our knowledge at the time we were both in such close proximity, as we were both using alias'.

It was rather a full game. 8/8 players I believe. I started to spread nicely the first year. Saved up some cash, at Winter, for my assault I was planning on the capital close to mine in year 2. That capital being Finland.

Well if I wasn't surprised as the guy in Finland seemed to have the same idea and headed my direction as I headed his. "So', thought I, "you want a war then boy".

It didn't take too long. After a short stream of well executed maneuvers I had his capital and he left the game. Leaving me to have a longer game with everyone else.

Although, on a more serious note I did notice you have adopted my tactics. It is quite touching to know that someone sees the logic in my ways and chooses to use them. I am glad you have learned something young Padawan.
