KeyserSoze would let the taps flow. Budweiser, of course. Keira would get drunk and dance on the table tops. Jenny would order a hamburger. Rippe would order a sausage. Paars would wear his best purple suit. Attila would be himself and piss everyone off. And Izzle? Izzle would beat Master in front of a live conqueror audience.

Awesome idea, but we may have to look for another place, as far as I know Keyser does not own that bar anymore. A shame of course as it would have been the perfect venue.

So I click on the link that Gratis provided. I’m curious. What is this link that discusses one of the great states of our American Union?

A boy-band like video commences. One of the first things I notice is the odd name. Ylvis. Then the fact that an English song has English subtitles. Things start to not make sense in Izzle’s brain so I investigate. My deduction: this must be foreign.

Sure enough. Norwegian. At least it’s not Danish. I investigate further.

I hit the Wikipedia page for Ylvis. Apparently a video called “The Fox” has had over 160 million views. Wtf?

I head over to YouTube and search for “The Fox” expecting greatness. Instead, for the next 3:45 I witness two girly men and an old bearded man sitting in the middle of the forest making gibberish noises about what they believe a fox says when it is communicating with fellow animals.

At this point all sorts of thoughts and questions pop into my head. Foxes don’t say ring-ding-ding. Telephones do. Is this European humor? I’m not laughing. Should I reconsider my next trip? Europeans scare me.

Some things are best left unanswered…
