Hallali: Fortifying as in terms of defending. No forts aren't good and he never said that. He taught me how to move my troops in a defensive manner, not an offensive manner.

Hi! Nice idea creating sort of top 10 list DH!

I think i have played most of those top 10 rated guys and have to admit they are really good. But since starting position decides most in this game here my list without any ranking:

DH, Paars, Master, Xuul, Hallali, Rippe, Nelson,
Golem, Lancelot, Hst

11th : neo

Ask any better player and you don´t find any having forts in his strategy. They are just a waste of productivity. And if your enemy gets them it is much harder for you to get the lands back and they turn into a major disadvantage.

Besides with the upcoming teamgames playing strategy has turned to a faster, harder and more aggressive style. Defensive tactics won´t help you there.

I build/buy a fort sometimes.

Seriously read what I wrote.

If you need it stated again, maybe your english isn't very good?, I meant fortifying as in defensive moves. That means moving your troops.

You are right Neo starting position do mean alot.
But i often win even though i have the worst position and the worst lands.
And the most of the players in your top 10 do so aswell.

The superior player can win even though his/her lands suck.

Since i really don´t know the none-active players´s level then i will make a new top 10 consisting active players.

2. Hallali.
3. Master / Paars.
4. Master / Paars.
5. Dirtyharry.
6. Neo / Lancelot.
7. Neo / Lancelot.
8. Golem.
9. Claudia.
10. A number of players could get nr. 10 (Docscott, Izzlekizzle, Squeegie, Capt Planet).

I won't rate players in some particular order, since that would not be correct anyway (I won't be able to participate, but RIPPE's tournament will show more objective results). However, these players are the ones I feel unease to play against:

Paars, Master, DirtyHarry, hst, neo, Golem, DocScott, MrScientist, Teras

and also the ones I really like to play with (generally more chat than play), the games with them are mostly too much fun, so I cannot feel that unease:)

jenny, Claudia(Amaterazu)

and the long term good players (also called legends in some messages)

hmmm, hallali, Xuul, Nelson, soccer543, zbp, G, RIPPE, IceQueen, kutuzov, smswoodson (also jynxxx and Liquid, and some players above)

and some info I want to mention about long time good players:

-I think Xuul still has the longest winning streak from speed farming times (should be about 2 years).
-Watching Nelson is always a good way to learn about the game even if you think you are the best that can beat all (99% you will understand you are not, near the end)
-The memories I have about zbp,hmmm and hallali are just about losing:)
-Many people don't know IceQueen; but as far as I remember, she was always good (also beat me in our last 1vs1)
-some of you may think that hallali and soccer543 are overrated if you play with them in a 3v3 recently, but they just need to get used to that, never underestimate them without playing a 1v1 (hallali) or FFA (soccer)
-jynxxx was good before I had a pause about 6 months ago, and heard somewhere he paused too, I hope he will be better soon.
-If you have the opportunity to play with Paars, just ask him about the development strategy for 3v3, that's one of the shortest ways to be better (srry for the trouble Paars;)

Also some players who I think have the potential, but need more time
-Squeegie, Kobrakai, Mousegrit, psycho

I don't remember the games I played with Oz, and IzzleKizzle; so can't rate them.

And finally there was a new genius who beat dannyray (in spain) from ulster in only his 3rd game in a 3v3 by just reading the tutorial and some material in the forum. His nickname was starting with "z" but can't remember the rest, but it was not an alias (as he said)

Then you are considerably slower then other people. I never claimed to be a great fighter. Never claimed to be polite. You're stupid for believing so, or you never understood what I have ever said.

though i rarely play since about a year now i sneak in sometimes with some random smurf accounts

one thing is clear... skill level has improved a lot in due to competitive team games

there are so many players playing on a high level that it doesnt make sense to rank them on places like 1,2 or 3.. there is a bunch of 10-20 players playing equally so a win or loss depends on luck, concentration and day performance

well im looking forward to play the tourney arranged by rippe... the last two people trying me 1on1 lost badly (hmmmm and jd), im looking forward to kick some other newcomers asses like those of paars, master, harry, claudia, lancelot, oz and others i dont even know :D

well i think Godess stands near squeegie and kobrakai. they r atm top 15.but since i never played rippe or halali so i put squeegie and kobrakai for now. kobrakai improved alot with his expanding empire
