Just started happening to me tonight. I like the game but it is very frustrating. Had to register 4 times for the forum as well.

Usually I can clear it by shutting down the internet and restarting explorer. I have found that helps clear it. The most I've had to shut down is four times.

I've had it happened to me when hosting team games.

I don't think it happens when I host FFA.

Can we just clarify exactly what the turn 3 bug is?

The 'Turn 3' Bug is a disconnecting of the host in a game just before, during, or shortly after turn three.

The bug complicates things further as the following turn has orders missing from many dictators. Some people get to move and develop, but most lose a turn.

The game-playing solution to this bug is to leave the game immediately after this has happened to the host, but seeing that because everybody will leave the game one-by-one and quickly rejoin the game, the host position is passed on; essentially, by 'passing the buck' someone is going to lose a turn.

Therefore, the best thing to do is start a new game with a different host.

Most of the times, this doesn't happen to me when I host, but it has happened. It is the same as when we had that era of disconnections during just about every game: keep an eye out for who can host games efficiently.

Comrade-D. Once the bug have happened, the new host will get the same d/c. And it will keep doing that. That is why.

I agree with LNO it will continuously do it until everyone quits and the game is over. Happened to me a couple of times and it still happens every now and then. ... <-- are you talking about that or is it a different bug ?
