Skipping behavior, and other considerations

Hello,

A game with UIs only will not skip.

But as soon as a user logs on to a game, the skipping starts.

Maybe you should provide the code (open source it, if you will). A darn bunch of programmers could help you with that and other bugs.

This is a much interesting game, but marred with bugs. Releasing the code would bring it to the next level, IMO.

Cheerio,

Fran?ois

It's a consideration, but how many open source programmers use Macromedia Director?

Programmers can learn any language, and rather fast I might had.

Yeah, but in the case of Director, the product has to be purchased from Macromedia. I doubt that people who are going to spend $500-$1000 to buy Director just to code this game.

Hi,

Open source the code, you'll be surprised... that's my bet.

I don't know of a single project that's not been enhanced by opening the code up to the programmers community.

In view of the interest generated (duly, I might add) by your game, I suppose that within a few monts, the application could be ported to other languages/technologies. Furthermore, I believe that among the crowd (let's start with Xuul), a few Director's buff could be found.

All the best,

Fran?ois
